7 LONG TITLE
8 General Description:
9 This bill supplements or reduces appropriations previously provided for the use and
10 operation of state government for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 . provides appropriations for the settlement of Deep Creek Ranch LLC v. Utah State
14 Armory Board; and
15 . provides appropriations for the bills and resolutions with fiscal impact passed in the 2013
16 First Special Session.
17 Money Appropriated in this Bill:
18 This bill appropriates for fiscal year 2014:
19 . $2,995,000 from the General Fund Budget Reserve Account.
20 Other Special Clauses:
21 This bill takes effect immediately.

25 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
26 Section 1. The following sums of money are appropriated for the fiscal year beginning July
27 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014. These are additions to amounts previously appropriated for
28 fiscal year 2014.

35 To implement the provisions of Joint Resolution Approving
36 the Deep Creek Case Settlement Agreement (Senate Joint
37 Resolution 101, 2013 First Special Session).
38 Section 2. Effective Date.
39 If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect upon
40 approval by the Governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah Constitution
41 Article VII, Section 8 without the Governor's signature, or in the case of a veto, the date of override.
