Line Item: Invasive Species Mitigation

Function

The Invasive Species Mitigation line item accounts for funding from the Invasive Species Mitigation restricted account. The purpose for this restricted account is to provide funding for projects preventing catastrophic wildland fire in a watershed or to restore watersheds after wildland fires. Starting in FY 2013, this fund will be used to eliminate invasive plant species in designated parts of the State.

Statutory Authority

UCA 4-2-8.7 creates the Invasive Species Mitigation Account.
