This bill increases the penalty for poaching. With the changes this bill proposes, the collection of fines and forefitures by the Division of Wildlife Resources is estimated to increase annually by $5,000. Current law states that those fines and forefitures are deposited into the General Fund Restricted - Wildlife Resources Account.
