Passage of this bill could increase Uniform School Fund in FY 1997 by $77,000. However, in FY 1998 there is a potential decrease of Uniform School Fund of $3,752,000 and a decrease of $4,634,000 in FY 1999. There will also be a corresponding increase of local revenues of $408,000 in FY 1997. This will be followed by a decrease in local funds of $19,958,000 in FY 1998 and a loss of $24,663,000 in FY 1999.
