Passage of this bill will create the Judges Non Contributory System, thereby requiring a 100 percent employer contribution to the system. It is estimated that a General Fund appropriation of $186,100 to the Judicial Council/Administrative Office of the Courts will be required to offset the two percent now being contributed by the employee.
