This bill will generate approximately $214,700 in Dedicated Credits for the Fraud Unit of the Insurance Department. The Department anticipates hiring an additional investigator, assistant Attorney General, and secretary to increase insurance anti fraud activities. Estimated expenditures are $194,900 from Dedicated Credits. Section 31A-2-202 (7) (b) creates a potential loss in Premium Tax revenue. There is no data on which to estimate the loss.
