Provisions of this bill allows the Transportation Commission to issue grants from the Transportation Fund up to $1,000,000. It is unknown how many local governments will qualify under provisions of the bill for consideration for the grant. It is estimated that currently one county and its municipalities would qualify. It is unknown if the Transporation Commission would make the grants up to the $1,000,000 for each entity that qualifies.
