Passage of this bill will have no immediate fiscal impact on state and local funds. However, if the Chief Security Officer or the Chief Transportation Officer contracts for assistance from other state and local agencies there may be costs to those agencies, depending on the terms of the contract. In addition, there may be per diem costs associated with meetings of the Olympic Law Enforcement Command and the State Olympic Transportation Committee. However, the provisions of the bill do not specify the number of meetings. The cost per meeting is $90 for a full day and $60 for a partial day, plus mileage if the attendees are eligible for per diem payments.
