The effective date and implementation provisions of this bill delay any fiscal impact until FY 2000-2001. Based upon recent salary differences between non-administrative certified staff at the Schools for the Deaf and the Blind and certified teachers in the public schools, a cost ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 would be indicated starting in FY 2000-2001.
