Passage of this bill will limit appropriations from the Trust Fund for People with Disabilities to interest only. There is no immediate fiscal impact since no ongoing programs are currently being funded from the Trust Fund. However, future projects that are planned to come from the Fund would require other funding sources. According to the Division of Finance, the Fund balance as of June 30, 1997 was $142,900.
