Provisions of this bill extends the sales tax exemption for pollution control facilities from July 1, 1999 to July 1, 2004. Sales tax exemptions with the current statute are estimated at a minimum of $4,200,000 annually and will continue through FY 2004 if provisions of this bill are enacted.
