Costs related to submitting the proposed Constitutional Amendment to the electorate will include the printing costs for four additional pages in the voter information pamphlet ($16,400) and the required public/legal notice (approximately $8,700). Total costs are estimated at $25,100 in General Funds. Requirements of this resolution replace S. J. R. 1 passed during the 1997 General Session. Expenditures for S. J. R. 1 were requested as part of the Lieutenant Governor's FY 1999 budget. Therefore, assuming this resolution replaces S. J. R. 1, no additional funding will be required.
