No significant State or local government fiscal impact. This bill will result in a small increase of .06 percent to the employer contribution rate. However, after the fire insurance premium offset, there would be no increased cost to the cities or counties having a Division A Firefighter's Retirement Plan for its firefighter employees. It is estimated that, on average, less than one individual is affected each year. Any increase in budgets will be handled within existing limits.
