AMENDED NOTE
The special requirement for drivers over 80 to renew at the license facility will add revenue as the fee at the examining offices is $2 higher than through the mail process. Net revenue for the additional 6,000 impacted annually would be approximately $12,000 the Transportation - DPS Restricted Fund. Increased walk-in traffic at the Drivers' License Offices will be handled by existing staff.
