Provisions of this bill changes the penalty for violatiing the Radiation Control Act from $5,000 per violation to $5,000 per day of violation. Violations are rare. There has been only one reported violation since the law went into effect. It is impossible to predict when any future fines will be imposed and to predict any possible fiscal impact.
