It is estimated that this bill will increase the costs of the Division of Health Facilities Licensure by approximately $133,500, to cover the costs of one additional FTE position and 4,000 fingerprint checks. The FTE position will require a General Fund appropriation of $37,500. The $96,000 cost for the fingerprint checks will be paid by the applicants as Dedicated Credits to the Department of Health. Those fees will then be forwarded to the FBI ($88,000) and the Department of Public Safety ($8,000) to cover the costs of the fingerprint checks.
