Costs associated with enacting provisions of this bill can be handled within exisiting budgets. The bill allows the State to negotiate with telecommunications entities to collect funds for use of the state rights of way on the interstate highway system. It is estimated that the first year income to the Transporation Fund could be as much as $1,600,000 with that amount increasing annually to possibly reach an annual income of $10,000,000.
