It is estimated that this bill will generate approximately $3,500 General Fund. An appropriation of $20,000 General Fund would be necessary for the Labor Commission to do the minimum statutory requirements. An appropriation of $41,400 General Fund would be need for the Attorney General's Office to implement the bill. Several provisions of the legislation will effect a loss of $206,000 Federal Funds. The Legislature would have to decide if they would replace this with another source of funding, e.g. General Fund, to continue the functions outlined in current statute.
