There is no fiscal impact to the State until FY 2003. Assuming a new district is created at that time, the State can expect to pay a minimum of $68,000 in ongoing Uniform School Funding annually. This will pay for district administration and applied technology administration. Assuming one new district is created, it is estimated that local district costs will be approximately $5,500,000 annually.
