The provisions of this bill are revenue neutral. An appropropriation of $10,000 from the Commerce Service Fund would be required for a part-time investigator/ educator. Increased appropriations from the Commerce Service Fund reduces the Fund surplus which lapses to the General Fund. Revenue from fines levied against violators would accrue to the Consumer Protection Education and Training Fund.
