Initial, one-time cost for the reprogramming required in Criminal Identification would be approximately $9,600. Ongoing costs of $17,100 will result from an expected additional 68,400 checks per year. This bill does not provide for a fee increase to cover those addiitonal costs, therefore, a General Fund appropriation would be required.
