Appropriations of $39,500 for both FY 2001 and FY 2002 from the General Fund are needed to continue the task force through November, 2002. The amount is distributed as follows: $25,000 to the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel; $8,500 to the House of Representatives; and $6,000 to the Senate. Any additional workload required by the Department of Commerce or the Public Service Commission can be absorbed within existing budgets.
