Sales Tax revenue from ticket sales for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games has been estimated at $13,000,000. However, at this point no sales tax revenue resulting from Olympic ticket sales have been built into State revenue estimates. Passage of this bill would require the state to forgo future revenues generated by Olympic ticket sales.
