FY 2016 Appropriation

Free revenue transfers are line item appropriations that authorize the Division of Finance to move resources from a restricted fund or account into the Education Fund. This most often happens when the Legislature "sweeps" an account balance. The resources then offset other appropriations from the Education Fund. These items are shown separately to avoid double-counting them in a budget roll-up.
