Funding provided to the Emergency Food Network is for distribution to emergency food pantries statewide. The funds assist local food banks and other providers with infrastructure capacity for storage and distribution of emergency and supplemental nutrition to households with incomes up to 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. Emergency food pantries utilize a variety of resources. These are mostly state and local funds leveraged with in-kind resources that include food and volunteer support.
