During the 2012 General Session, the Legislature created a new Science Outreach program. The Integrated Student and New Facility Learning Program provides additional resources to science organizations participating in the iSEE program to develop education outreach programs integrated with new or significantly re-designed capital facilities.
Several organizations participating in the iSEE program have recently opened or are developing new state-of-the art facilities. Program funding provides access to these new facilities with integrated education programs for the benefit of Utah's public school children. Organizations only receive funding after the completion of the capital facilities.
Current participants include the Natural History Museum of Utah and The Leonardo.
