The Agricultural Experiment Station has research facilities located throughout the state. The Station oversees hundreds of research projects that promote agriculture and human nutrition, and enhance the quality of rural life. Its labs test soils, plant tissue, irrigation water, and livestock feed. It researches food safety and processing, plant and animal genetics, and brings agriculture into harmony with natural resources.
