Representative Kay J. Christofferson moved to approve the minutes.
Mr. Robert Axson, State Director, Senator Mike Lee's office, spoke regarding PILT and valuation of federal lands.
Demonstration of Geomancer Prototype
Mr. Ryan Freeman, CEO, Geomancer, spoke about the company, how the software works, and presented the land valuation example of Washington County as had been requested.
Mr. Mark Cressler, Chairman, Geomancer, spoke about how the software would affect valuations and what they have found regarding current valuations and PILT payments for Washington County.
The Commission asked questions of the Geomancer presenters.
Chair Fillmore opened the meeting to public comment
Mr. Larry Mulcock asked how the valuations would affect water accessibility.
Sen. Winterton, R. moved to authorize the contract payment to Geomancer for the completion of their evaluation of Washington County.
Discussion on the motion.
Motion passes to approve the proof of concept payment for the evaluation
