Legislative Information Technology
The LSO information technology staff provides a comprehensive suite of technology products and services to the Legislature and other legislative staff offices. IT functions are divided into two categories: operations and development.
The IT operations staff provides desktop and server support, local and wide area networking, database management, cybersecurity, telephone services, and committee room technology support.
The IT development staff provides website design and creation, new application development, legacy system modification, support, and operations, and project management services.
The IT staff’s custom applications and advanced knowledge of operations and process allow greater transparency and access to the policymaking process while at the same time improving the efficiency and effectiveness of legislative staff and elected officials.
