Printing

The Printing arm of Legislative Services was established in 1975. It provides typesetting, graphics, printing, and publishing services to the legislature, its staff offices and other state agencies.

Session Responsibilities:

During the General Legislative Session, the major responsibilities of the Printing include preparation and printing of the daily Senate and House Journals, printing of House and Senate bills, amendments, agendas, status sheets and miscellaneous printing as needed by the legislature.

Interim Responsibilities:

In the interim, the office publishes the final bound versions of the House and Senate Journals, Laws of Utah, reports, newsletters, manuals, management audits and other legislative and state agency publications. Printing is also responsible for the distribution of most Legislative publications. It also coordinates bulk purchases of the Utah Code Annotated and Utah Code Unannotated for Utah's Governmental entities in order to obtain substantial cost savings to the state.
