H.J.R. 21 Joint Resolution Reaffirming the Value of Women (Kwan, K.) Rep. Kwan presented the resolution. Sheriff Rosie Rivera, Salt Lake County, spoke in favor of the resolution. Ms. Emily Walsh, Legislative Action Committee Co-Director, League of Women Voters of Utah, spoke in favor of the resolution. Ms. Lauren Simpson, Policy Fellow, Alliance for a Better Utah, spoke in favor of the resolution. Rep. Hutchings moved to amend H.J.R. 21 by striking the word "shall" in line 66. Motion withdrawn.
