Rep. Owens moved to approve the minutes of Feb 13, 2019.
Rep. Christine F. Watkins presented, with assistance from Nicholina Womack, CEO, FutureINDesign, and Brian Sather, CEO, Blacksmith International.
Rep. Watkins introduced Mr. Kory Holdaway, KULH Consulting, who answered the questions of Rep. Owens.
Rep. Hutchings moved to pass H.B. 276 out favorably.
H.J.R. 21 Joint Resolution Reaffirming the Value of Women
(Kwan, K.)
Rep. Kwan presented the resolution.
Sheriff Rosie Rivera, Salt Lake County, spoke in favor of the resolution.
Ms. Emily Walsh, Legislative Action Committee Co-Director, League of Women Voters of Utah, spoke in favor of the resolution.
Ms. Lauren Simpson, Policy Fellow, Alliance for a Better Utah, spoke in favor of the resolution.
