Joene Nicolaisen, member of the hard of hearing and deaf community, spoke for the resolution.
Nellie Sausedo, member of the hard of hearing and deaf community and President of Senior Citizens of Utah, spoke for the resolution.
Stephen Persinger, Treasurer, Utah Association of the Deaf, spoke for the resolution.
Rep. Albrecht moved to pass H.R. 3 out favorably.
Chair Brooks announced that H.B. 317 would be heard next on the agenda, and H.B. 309 would be heard after H.B. 317.
