Chair Stratton presented the bill with assistance of Jeff Rasmussen, Director, Utah State Parks, and Bill Lee, Commissioner, Utah County. They responded to questions from the committee.
Mara Hammer, member of the public, spoke in favor of the bill and responded to a question from the committee.
Craig Christensen, Conserve Utah Valley, spoke in favor of the bill.
Rep. Bennion moved to pass H.C.R. 13 out favorably.
Rep. Albrecht moved to place H.C.R. 13 on the Consent Calendar with further discussion from the committee.
