 Rep. Coleman assumed the chair. Chair Coleman called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.
 Rep. McCay moved to approve the minutes for January 30, 2017 and February 1, 2017. The motion passed with a vote of 10-0-4.  H.B. 108 Teacher Salary Supplement Amendments (Christofferson, K.)
 Rep. Kay J. Christofferson presented the bill.
 Ms. Susan Sommerkorn, teacher, spoke in favor of the bill.
 Ms. Kimberly Call, teacher, spoke in the favor of the bill.
 Mr. Travis Rawlings, Licensing Coordinator, Utah State Board of Education, responded to questions.
 Rep. Cutler moved to amend H.B. 108 with Amendment #1. The motion passed with a vote of 7-4-3. Voting in the affirmative were: Peterson V, Christensen L, Cutler B R, Fawson J, Hutchings E, Moss C, Poulson M Voting in the negative were: Coleman K, Last B, McCay D, Snow V L Absent or not voting were: Gibson F, Noel M, Owens D
 Rep. Peterson moved to pass out H.B. 108, as amended, favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 8-3-3.
