FY 2016 Appropriation

The Land Stewardship and Restoration line item was created in the 2012 General Legislative Session for projects that would not be considered capital investments, such as fence repairs, road maintenance, erosion control, and hazardous material cleanup.

Land Stewardship Projects

This is a request for addition funding for additional land stewardship projects, such as road maintenance, erosion control, etc.

Transfer Environmental FTE

The agency is requesting the transfer of environmental staff from the Operations line item to the Lands Stewardship line item.
Appropriation Overview

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $2,113,500 from all sources for Land Stewardship and Restoration. This is a 322.7 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.
