FY 2016 Appropriation

The Consumer Protection Education and Training Fund is an expendable revenue fund established to provide training for citizens on the purposes and processes related to charitable solicitation. Any balance over $500,000 lapses to the General Fund at the end of the fiscal year.

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $500,000 from all sources for Consumer Protection Education and Training Fund. This is a 53.8 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.
