School Safety and Security Personnel Requirements
Acting Chair Gwynn briefed the task force on closing the meeting.
Matt Pennington moved to close the meeting to the public under Utah Code Subsection 52-4-205(1)(f) to discuss deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems.

Eliason moved that the School Security Task Force approve funding from the $50M general grants appropriation in 2024 General Session H.B. 84, School Safety Amendments, for the State Security Chief to acquire the guardian identifiers, selected by the State Security Chief through an RFP process, for all guardians in Utah public schools.
