FY 2016 Appropriation

This new program came as a result of a restructuring of the State Board of Regents' line items during the 2009 General Session. This program provides support to leverage USHE institutions' resources with the goal of sustaining and developing the economy of the state through regional and cluster acceleration efforts.

Appropriation Overview

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $322,200 from all sources for Economic Development Initiatives. This is a 1.6 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $322,200 from the General/Education Funds, an increase of 1.6 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.
