The Transient Room Tax Fund is an earmarked portion of the Transient Room Tax in a county of the first class used to mitigate the impacts of traffic and parking relating to a convention facility within the county.

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $2,800,000 from all sources for Transient Room Tax Fund. This is a 3.7 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.
