The Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College (OWATC) serves Weber County from its Ogden, Ogden Business Depot, and Roy campuses. OWATC generated 1,098,485 membership hours in FY 2014, with 84 percent for post-secondary students and 16 percent for secondary students. Its service region includes two school districts. OWATC offers a variety of programs in business, information technology, health sciences, service professions, construction, manufacturing technology, and apprenticeship. TEST TEST TEST
Weber State University and Ogden-Weber ATC have a memorandum of understanding that allows Licensed Practical Nursing students from Ogden-Weber ATC to articulate their courses with Weber State University's Registered Nursing Program.
During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $14,541,800 from all sources for Ogden/Weber ATC. This is a 1.7 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $12,816,300 from the General/Education Funds, an increase of 1.9 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.

Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College (OWATC) began as a tech college in 1971 under the name of Skills Center North. By 1975, the Utah Board of Regents incorporated Skills Center North as a part of Weber State College. In 1982, the institution was moved again and became Ogden-Weber Area Vocational Center. In the early 1990s, the name was changed to Ogden-Weber Applied Technology Center. And finally, the Utah State Legislature, in special session, passed House Bill 1003 on June 20, 2001 creating the statewide Utah College of Applied Technology (UCAT) and its regional campuses, including OWATC.
