FY 2016 Appropriation

The Insurance Fraud Victim Restitution Account is earmarked for the sole benefit of insurance fraud victims. Funds are the result of court orders related to insurance fraud.

Appropriation Overview

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $322,300 from all sources for Insurance Fraud Victim Restitution Fund. This is a 7.4 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.

Statutory authority for the fund is found in UCA 31A-31-108.5.
