UCAT Program Approvals -
Angela J. Oh ( PDF)Certificate programs provided by campuses of the Utah College of Applied Technology (UCAT) are developed and approved by direction of the UCAT Board of Trustees. Board policy provides for campus programs to meet documented needs of employers for technically-skilled workers in the campus' specific regional market. Each program must have an employer advisory committee that ensures desirable, relevant, and current practices of the occupation being taught, and must be approved by the campus board of directors. Programs that are 900 hours or longer, or that will be financial-aid eligible, must then be approved by the UCAT President, Robert Brems. Campuses submit programs for approval to meet their regional needs throughout the year . The table below lists programs that have been approved between January and May of this year.  |
