FY 2016 Appropriation

The Water Development Security Fund (WDSF) provides funding to administer loan programs. The fund includes the Drinking Water Security subaccount and the Water Quality Security subaccount. State money in the Drinking Water Security subaccount may be applied to meet match requirements for federal funds.

It is made up by the following subaccounts:

  • Drinking Water Loan Program;
  • State Revolving Fund for Drinking Water Projects;
  • Hardship Grant Program for Drinking Water Projects; and
  • Drinking Water Origination Fee.

Appropriation Overview

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $21,598,600 from all sources for WSDA - Drinking Water. This is a 3.7 percent reduction from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.
