FY 2016 Appropriation

The Education Tax Check-off Lease Refunding Fund receives deposits from income tax return contributions. The revenue may be used for libraries, library equipment, or to the foundation of any school district (or its equivalent for school districts without a foundation).

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $35,300 from all sources for Education Tax Check-off Lease Refunding. This is a 0 percent change from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.

The Legislature determined that the Education Tax Check-off Lease Refunding Fund should be reviewed each year and be included in an appropriations act.
