FY 2016 Appropriation

The Administration program provides accounting, technical, and clerical support to the Governor's Office of Management and Budget. The duties of this program include personnel management, internal budget development, travel arrangements, program development and other support functions as necessary.

Appropriation Overview

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $1,445,100 from all sources for Administration. This is an 8.5 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $1,245,100 from the General/Education Funds, an increase of 22.5 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.

Appropriation Adjustments

In addition to statewide compensation and internal service fund cost increases, the following appropriation adjustments were made during the 2015 General Session:

This funding would be provided to contracted consultants that support the Governor's operational excellence program.

The Administration program is now used to budget for the new Operational Excellence (SUCCESS Framework) initiative in the Governor's Office of Management and Budget. Please see the line item description of the Governor's Office of Management and Budget for further detail about this initiative.

HB0003: Item 4

Under section 63J-1-603 of the Utah Code, the Legislature intends that appropriations provided to the Governor's Office of Management and Budget in Item 17, Chapter 14, Laws of Utah 2014 not lapse at the close of Fiscal Year 2015.
