FY 2016 Appropriation

This program shows the amount allocated to pay building security and operations and maintenance. The Labor Commission is primarily located at the Heber M. Wells Building, near the intersection of 300 South and 200 East in Salt Lake City. The building is owned by the State and operated by the Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM).

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $160,000 from all sources for Building Operations and Maintenance. This is a 0 percent change from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $160,000 from the General/Education Funds, a change of 0 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.

Under section 63J-1-603 of the Utah code, the Legislature intends that appropriations provided to the Labor Commission in Item 21, Chapter 10, Laws of Utah 2014 not lapse at the close of Fiscal Year 2015. Nonlapsing funds shall be used for computer projects.
