FY 2016 Appropriation

The Information Technology group provides IT resources and all IT services in support of the agency's objectives. The IT Group maintains two mission-critical applications: (1) The LMBS (Land Management Business System), which provides a complete land inventory of all surface and subsurface ownership with a complete lease, contract, and sale information database, and processes and disperses all revenue to the appropriate beneficiaries; and (2) the LMGIS (Land Management Geographic Information System), which provides a complete geo-spatial database of the same surface and subsurface ownership and contract activity in the form of maps.

Appropriation Overview

During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $1,071,600 from all sources for Information Technology Group. This is a 3.5 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources.
