The Veterinary Diagnostics and Infestios Disease research team is focused on conducting interdisciplinary research that will lead to commercial opportunities in the areas of infectious disease and diagnostics. The team was established in 2011.
During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $2,063,600 from all sources for USU Veterinary Diagnostics and Infectious Disease. This is a 12.8 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $2,063,600 from the General/Education Funds, an increase of 16 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.
