The Health Sciences Team focuses on three topics of genetic discovery, chemical biology and cancer therapeutics develop new therapeutics to extend and sustain health and quality of life.
During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $2,627,400 from all sources for U of U Health Sciences. This is a 38.9 percent reduction from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $2,627,400 from the General/Education Funds, an increase of 1 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.
