The Utah Advanced Transportation Insitute is focused on developing new solutions in wireless power transfer by creating innovative, high-power electronics. The team was established in 2007.
During the 2015 General Session, the Legislature appropriated for Fiscal Year 2016, $1,148,800 from all sources for USU Utah Advanced Transportation Institute. This is a 3 percent increase from Fiscal Year 2015 revised estimated amounts from all sources. The total includes $1,148,800 from the General/Education Funds, an increase of 7.8 percent from revised Fiscal Year 2015 estimates.
